Steve Rapson headlining at Fresh Ground on Nov. 17
with opener Maggie Neff, local guitarist and singer
Nobody wishes on their death bed they had spent more time at the office. Or, better, any time at the office. Following a life in corporate America, Steve Rapson became a full time musician and writer. Most of Steve's CDs are known as: One Man, One Guitar, No Singing. Among them are Christmas Guitar, Romantic Guitar, Patriotic Guitar, & Half Irish Guitar. He's a songwriter, too, and has released four recordings of his songs which do contain singing: Two on CD: A Little Bit a’ Crow and The Illustrated Man, and two via digital download: Seeking Soul and I Can't Be Serious. All available at www.steverapson.com, and Amazon.com.
Steve is also the author of The Art of the Solo Performer: A Field Guide to Stage & Podium. A book that outsells his CDs, which he finds most annoying. Also available at his website and on Amazon.
Steve holds a Masters in Communication Management from Simmons College. He lives in Winchendon, Massachusetts, but escapes to Jupiter, Florida for the winter with Rosemary, his wife of forty-seven years. They married young, it was quite a scandal at the time.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, music from 7 –10 PM. A small cover charge helps us defray costs. 🙂
