The Fresh Ground Coffeehouse
Join us on the 3rd* Saturday of each month at the Fresh Ground Coffeehouse, at 66 Elm Street in Gardner! Fresh Ground will feature the finest local and regional musicians for a great evening of music, coffee and home-baked treats. Doors open at 6:30 PM, music from 7 –10 PM. A mere $2 cover charge helps us defray costs. 🙂
Our musical host each month is Gardner's own Peter Sargent, whose unique style of Americana includes folk songs, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Steve Goodman, Towns van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and Lefty Frizzell, among others! Each month Peter will introduce the evening with music and then present the main act.
* Note that due to St. Patty's day, when you can find Peter performing in the Boston area, we will hold Fresh Ground on the fourth Saturday, March 24.
January 20: Jake Goldstein sings, plays the ukulele and harmonica.
February 17th: Sweet Euphoria, a duo consisting of Sandy Murcell and Topo Hakkinen. If you enjoy tunes such as Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight, The La's There She Goes, and Donovan's Mellow Yellow, you'll enjoy Sweet Euphoria's sweet renderings as they perform here in Gardner.
*March 24th: The Green Sisters - a wonderful, dynamic group of four sisters from Hubbardston, they've been performing in MA and NH venues for over two years. Mixing bluegrass with the likes of Patsy Cline, their tight harmonies and high energy tunes are sure to please. Note this is the fourth Saturday in March.
